Project Overview / Story
When Lwanga Dunee prepared to announce his candidacy for GRASAG President (2025/2026) at GCTU, he needed a flyer that could do more than declare an intention — it had to communicate authority, vision, and presidential confidence. In a competitive academic environment where branding shapes perception, the goal was to design a visual announcement that stood out instantly and positioned him as a serious, prepared, and strategic candidate.
His core message emphasized selfless leadership, captured beautifully in the featured Lao Tzu quote:
“A leader is best when people barely know he exists… when his work is done, they will say: we did it ourselves.”
My task was to transform this philosophical message into a powerful visual narrative.
✅ My Creative Approach
I developed the flyer around three pillars: leadership presence, calm authority, and modern professionalism.
Color Direction:
- Deep navy blue as the base color to symbolize trust, intelligence, and presidential authority.
- Electric green accents to highlight key phrases and inject energy into the design.
- Subtle gradients and lighting effects to add depth and modernity.
Layout Strategy:
- A clean, left-aligned textual structure to emphasize hierarchy and readability.
- The candidate’s portrait placed prominently on the right, enhanced with cool-toned color grading to create a confident, composed appearance.
- A faded silhouette of the candidate behind the main elements to add dimension and reinforce presence without crowding the layout.
Branding Elements:
- The GCTU and GRASAG institution emblems placed at the top for credibility.
- A circular abstract background pattern representing unity, continuity, and organized leadership.
- Ghana flag colors blended subtly at the bottom to invoke national pride and connect the message to community service.

The final flyer successfully highlighted Lwanga Dunee as a credible, forward-thinking, and inspirational presidential candidate.
The design achieved:
